Police identify victim of Carlington area shooting

The Ottawa Police Service (OPS) Homicide Unit has identified the victim of a mid morning shooting in the Carlington area yesterday.

Emergency crews responded to the 1500 block of Raven Avenue just before 10:40 a.m. Wednesday morning.

Responding police officers found a 47-year-old man dead at the scene.

Police have identified the victim as Michael Quattrocchi of Ottawa.

Investigators are seeking anyone with surveillance video who may have been in the area at the time of the incident.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the OPS Homicide Unit at 613-236-1222 ext. 5493.
