Ottawa Senators president of business operations Anthony LeBlanc has resigned, the club confirmed on Monday.

“Anthony LeBlanc informed the Ottawa Senators Board of Directors that he has stepped down from his role of president, business operations,” the Ottawa Senators Hockey Club said in a statement to Sportsnet.

“The Senators thank Anthony for his contributions to both the organization and our community and wish him the best in his future endeavours. The organization’s capable executive leadership team will continue to drive the business in the interim.”

LeBlanc, an Ottawa resident and former part-owner of the Arizona Coyotes, was the top executive on the business side of the operation since his hiring in April 2020.
