The Ottawa Senators parted ways with assistant general manager Trent Mann on Tuesday, Sportsnet can confirm.
It’s the latest in a series of front-office changes for the Senators with new owner Michael Andlauer set to take control of the franchise.
The Senators confirmed that president of business operations Anthony LeBlanc resigned Monday.
Postmedia’s Bruce Garrioch was the first to report the news that Mann and the team had parted ways.
Mann joined the Senators as a part-time amateur scout in 2010, then came on full-time with the club in 2014. He took over as the team’s lead amateur scout in 2016 before being promoted to assistant GM in 2022.
Garrioch reports that the decision to fire Mann’s brother Troy as the head coach of the club’s AHL affiliate in Belleville last February may have caused some tension in the front office.
