Ottawa Fire Services lifts open-air fire ban

Ottawa Fire Services (OFS) has officially lifted an open-air ban that was issued earlier this month.

OFS issued the ban on July 5.

Campfires, brush piles and wood burning outdoor fireplaces are not allowed during the ban.

The #OpenAirFireBan has been lifted.

If you plan on having a fire:

Ensure you have a valid permit

Call the burn line before starting your fire 613-580-2880
