Firefighters tackle blaze on Albion Road

No injuries have been reported after Ottawa firefighters responded to a fire on Albion Road on Sunday evening.

Ottawa Fire Services (OFS) responded to 9-1-1 calls reporting smoke coming from a restaurant in the 3000 block of Albion Road South just after 10 p.m. on Sunday, July 30.

The structure was empty at the time, and it took firefighters roughly 30 minutes to put the fire out.

At approx 22:21 last night, we responded to the 3000 block of Albion Rd S for smoke visible inside a commercial restaurant. Firefighters arrived 4 min after being dispatched & confirmed a inside the one storey structure. Fire crews began a fast attack & located the fire inside… pic.twitter.com/JIdDCA3sQv
