Provincial police rescue hikers lost for hours in North Grenville

Two hikers have been rescued after being lost for hours in North Grenville.
The Grenville Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to an area near Tompkins Road around 4 a.m. where the pair had been lost for about five hours.
According to the OPP, one hiker was in medical distress and an All Terrain Vehicle (ATV) to was used to transport paramedics and medical equipment to the scene.
Both were treated and brought to safety and police say they are recovering well.
