Ottawa man charged with sexual assault, police believe there could be more victims

A local man is facing multiple charges in connection with a sexual assault investigation and police are concerned there could be more victims.

The Ottawa Police Service (OPS) laid charges against Jason O’Toole, 47, of Ottawa, on Thursday, Aug, 31.

O’Toole faces the following five charges:

  • Overcome resistance to an offence by using a drug
  • Administer noxious substance with intent to aggrieve or annoy
  • Forcible confinement
  • Sexual assault with a weapon
  • Sexual assault

 

O’Toole is scheduled to appear in court in Ottawa on Friday.
