Kingston police charge five people in drug trafficking investigation

Five people have been charged following a drug trafficking investigation conducted by investigators within the Kingston Police Service.

Kingston police said the Special Services Division and Emergency Response Unit executed two search warrants on Bagot Street on Thursday, Aug. 31.

Officers seized 98 grams of fentanyl, 28 grams of cocaine, 60 grams of crystal methamphetamine, money, and a 2004 Porsche SUV.

Two residents of Kingston and three people from Toronto were charged with possession of proceeds of crime and possession for the purposes of trafficking fentanyl, cocaine and crystal methamphetamine under the Control Drugs and Substances Act.
