LRT work closes section of Highway 174

A short section of the westbound lanes of Highway 174 will close tonight and through the weekend as construction crews work on the east-end O-Train extension.
The westbound lanes of the 174 will completely close at Jeanne D’Arc Boulevard, at 7 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 13 and there will also be westbound lane reductions before the closure, between Tenth Line and Jeanne D’Arc.
The full closure is only under the Jeanne D’Arc overpass. The highway will stay fully open west of Jeanne D’Arc.
Eastbound lanes of the 174 are not affected by the closures.
All of the work is scheduled to wrap up by 5:30 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 16.
