Suspect sought in afternoon bank robbery

Authorities are looking for the suspect of a robbery that took place midday on Saturday, October 21.
The Ottawa Police Service Robbery Unit say around 3:30 p.m. a man entered a bank in the 1400 block of Merivale Road area and demanded money from staff.
The suspect attempted to break into a cash dispenser and then stole money from a customer. There have been no reports of any injuries.
The suspect is described as a middle-aged white man, approximately six feet tall.
Investigators are asking for the public’s help to identify the suspect.
