The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) said that four vehicles struck a moose on Highway 416 south of Ottawa on Sunday, Oct. 29.

On X, the OPP stated the vehicles were travelling south on Highway 416 near CR 20 in North Grenville, Ontario when they were involved in a collision with the moose just before 10 p.m.

Two drivers sustained minor injuries and paramedics attended the scene while one person was taken to hospital.

According to the OPP, the moose had died.
