Firefighters help one person trapped in vehicle after collision

Ottawa firefighters safely extricated one person after they were trapped inside their vehicle from a collision on Wednesday.

Ottawa Fire Services (OFS) said it received a call for a two vehicle collision at the intersection of Baseline Road and Prince of Wales Drive with reports of one vehicle was on its side with a single occupant possibly trapped inside.

Firefighters were able to help the person, who was later given to paramedics for care.
