One man arrested in connection to sexual based incidents in downtown Kingston

The Kingston Police Service (KPS) has made an arrest in connection to a series of sexual bases offenses that took place in downtown Kingston over the past two days.

In a release, Kingston police said during the incidents, an unknown male was approaching women, touching them while yelling aggressively.

Kingston police said one man has been arrested and is in police custody. There is no threat to public safety, police said.

 Police are aware of other incidents of a similar nature which have occurred within the last two days which have not been reported and are requesting that anyone who believes they’ve had an encounter with this male or who has any information in relation to these incidents please contact the KPS Major Crime Unit at 613-549-4660.
