OPP launches investigation after body discovered in water near Pakenham, Ontario

The Lanark County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is investigating after a body was found in water west of Ottawa.

OPP officers responded after receiving a report regarding a female’s body found near a body of water near Pakenham, Ontario just after noon on Sunday, Nov. 12.

Police did not identify the individual found, and no other information has been released.

The investigation is ongoing.
