OPP criminal branch takes over case of missing man in Sharbot Lake

The Criminal Investigation Branch (CIB) of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is now overseeing a missing persons case in Sharbot Lake.
The public is advised to expect an increased police presence in the Sharbot Lake area as of Friday, Nov. 24, both on the ground and in the sky, as police search for Kevin Camilleri, 59.
The investigation began on Thursday, Nov. 16 when Camilleri was reported missing and police say he was last scene on Thursday, Nov. 9 in the Sharbot Lake area.
He is described as:
- 5’8″ (173 cm)
- 177 lbs. (80 kg)
- Medium build
- Bald
- Grey/black beard/goatee
- Brown eyes
It’s believed Camilleri is wearing black jeans, black boots and a black t-shirt.

Investigators also want to hear from anyone with potentially relevant doorbell, dashcam or other video recordings from the days leading up to Kevin’s disappearance.
