Campaign asks residents to weigh in on cost-effective measures for future City projects

By Anil Jhalli

The City of Ottawa has launched a campaign asking residents to provide feedback and comments on how the municipality can be more practical when it comes to future projects.

The Engage Ottawa campaign asks people across the nation’s capital for “innovative ideas on how we can offer services in a different way, or how we can be more cost-effective,” said the City.

“We are looking for suggestions to help us meet our goal of creating a city that has affordable housing and is more liveable for all,” the City said. “We have already started improving services and finding more effective ways of working to help create a city that has affordable housing and that is more liveable for all. We have listed some examples of these efforts below to give you a sense of the work that is underway.”

More information on the campaign, and how you can provide feedback can found here.
