Environment Canada lifts winter weather travel advisory

By Anil Jhalli

All Environment Canada weather advisories for the nation’s capital have been lifted.

Environment Canada had lifted a winter storm warning for Ottawa and replaced it with a winter weather travel advisory.

The weather agency said Ottawa is expected to see a total of 10 to 15 centimetres of snow by the afternoon of Monday, Dec. 4.

The snow is forecast to slowly taper off throughout the day.

Due to the weather conditions, all buses for Ottawa and the Renfrew County English and French school boards were cancelled, as well as the Upper Canada District School Board and Catholic District School Board of Eastern Ontario.

OC Transpo told that today’s service would be impacted due to the weather.
