Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are reminding motorists to take extra precaution when driving during winter conditions after a car drove into a building on County Road 21 in August Township.

Grenville OPP said officers attended multiple collisions on Monday, Dec. 4 after winter conditions such as snow and freezing rain in some parts of eastern Ontario impacted driving for motorists across the province.

Police said “luckily” there were no injuries reported after the collision into the building in Augusta.

“Always drive according to road and weather conditions,” said the OPP on X. “Wet roads can greatly affect your braking ability, especially when navigating curves.”
