Collision in Tyendinaga Township sends two people to hospital with major injuries

Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have launched an investigation after two people were seriously hurt in a collision in Tyendinaga Township.

Emergency crews were called to the scene of a two-vehicle collision on Old Highway two between Miltown Road and Wyman Road. just before 3:30 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 7.

The collision involved an SUV and a sedan, and police said that SUV was traveling eastbound and the sedan was traveling westbound.

There was only one person in each vehicle and both drivers had to be extricated from their vehicles by the Tyendinaga Township Fire Department. They were transported to the hospital with major injuries.

The investigation is ongoing.
