Ottawa 67’s lose home matchup against Petes

By Anil Jhalli

The Peterborough Petes rolled into TD Place Arena on Friday night, handing the Ottawa 67’s a loss on home ice.

The 67’s scored first, and early, thanks to Henry Mews, but the Petes rallied back with three unanswered goals.

Ottawa would scored again, and the visiting team led 3-2 after the first period.

But that was all the 67’s could muster, losing 5-2.

Chris Barlas scored Ottawa’s other goal.

Next up for Ottawa is a clash with the Petes again, this time in Peterborough, on Sunday afternoon.
