The 46th edition of Ottawa’s Winterlude festival is making its return with a full slate of programs and attractions in February of next year.
Canadian Heritage announced that the nation’s capital’s flagship winter celebration is running from Feb. 2 until Feb. 19, 2024.
“Ottawa and Gatineau will be bustling with a host of indoor and outdoor activities that showcase Indigenous culture, Canadian diversity and significant anniversaries,” said Canadian Heritage in a media release. “Whether you enjoy the outdoors or prefer to take in a show or exhibit, Winterlude has you covered with more that 200 activities.”
Visitors can enjoy new attractions including the first ever Capital Pride Ice Parade and other popular attractions such as the Ottawa Ice Dragon Boat Festival and Snowflake Kingdom.
Organizers are hoping for a smooth return in 2024. Warmer than usual temperatures and the COVID-19 pandemic impacted programming and events over the last three years.
