Three people charged after break and enter in Merrickville-Wolford

Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have arrested and charged three people following a break and enter at a residence in the village of Merrickville-Wolford earlier this week.
Police said the suspects also stole a vehicle in the incident that took place in the late morning on Wednesday, Dec. 13.
According to a post in X, OPP said the suspects “intentionally drove into police cruisers before taking off.” A pursuit ensued, followed by a brief standoff between officers and the suspects.
Charges include multiple break and enter offences, fail to comply with probation orders and dangerous driving.
