Police lay charges after search warrant at residence in North Frontenac Township

A 31-year-old man is facing firearms related charges after Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) conducted a search warrant at a residence in North Frontenac Township over the weekend.

Police executed a search warrant at the home on Dec. 15 and later arrested Brady MacArthur, a resident of North Frontenac Township on the following charges:

–      Unauthorized possession of a firearm (five counts)

–      Possession of a firearm or ammunition contrary to prohibition order (one count)

–      Possession of firearm or ammunition contrary to prohibition order (one count)

–      Unauthorized possession of a prohibited or restricted firearm (one count)

–      Failing to comply with probation order (one count)

The accused was released on an undertaking and is to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Kingston on Feb. 6, 2024.
