Drivers face nearly $2,000 in fines after road rage incident on the Queensway

Two drivers are facing a total of $1,750 worth of fines after a road rage incident happened in the capital this weekend.

Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) said both drivers were seen driving recklessly on Highway 417 in Ottawa and were pulled over.

Police said they each received multiple fines, including careless driving and speeding.

Neither driver was identified by police.

In addition to fines, careless driving can lead up to a two-year suspended drivers license and in some cases, up to six months jail time.
