Food agency recalls Farm Boy Vegan Gluten Free Margherita Pizza

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) has recalled a Farm Boy brand pizza after a customer had a reaction to milk in the product that was unlisted.
The recall was triggered after the customer filed a complaint to the CFIA. Vegan products aren’t supposed to contain food that comes from animals, which includes milk.
The Farm Boy Vegan Gluten Free Margherita Pizza being recalled weighs 330 g with an expiration date of July 19, 2024.
The universal product code on the box is 8 08912 01086 1.
CFIA is asking the public to make sure they don’t have the recalled product and to throw it out or return it to the location where they were purchased if they do.
The inspection agency is conducting a food safety investigation of the Ottawa-based company, which may lead to other recalls, according to the recall on their website.
They are also verifying that Farm Boy is removing recalled products from the marketplace.
