OPP said they’re still investigating an evening fire in Arnprior that killed a 30-year-old resident last week.
Investigators said it happened on Jan. 10 at an apartment complex on Elgin Street.
One person was taken to Arnprior Regional Hospital where they were later pronounced dead. Three other people living in the three-unit building escaped unharmed, said OPP officials.
OPP said the Office of the Fire Marshall will continue to investigate, with help from the Office of the Chief Coroner and the OPP’s Forensic Identification Services.
Investigators are looking for anyone with residential or business surveillance video facing the roadway, dashcam video, or who may have been walking in the area of 126 Elgin Street.
They’re looking for anything that happened between 7:30 p.m. and 8:20 p.m. on Jan. 10.
Police said some have already come forward but they’re hoping for more.
Anyone with information is asked to call Renfrew County OPP at 1-888-310-1122 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222- 8477.
