G2 driver charged with stunt driving, clocked going 50 km/h over limit

Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have laid multiple charges against a G2 driver who was caught going more then 50 km/h over the speed limit.

On Wednesday, Jan. 17, officers with the Ottawa Detachment of the OPP clocked the driver going 157km/h on Highway 417.

According to the OPP, the driver also tried to evade police.

A 19-year-old woman has been charged with stunt racing, dangerous driving and flight from police.

She has been served a 30 day licence suspension and was released with a court date.
