Police are hoping to revive the cold case of a woman who was murdered four decades ago in a city west of Kingston.
Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) said that Barbara Chapman was murdered in her home near Frankford in the city of Quinte West on Jan. 23, 1984. She was 38-years-old.
Despite following many leads over the years, police said the case still remains unsolved and are asking the public for any information that may help solve this serious crime. They said even an “insignificant detail” could make all the difference.
Police have revealed little about the murder.

Police are offering a $50,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of anyone responsible for her death.
Investigators said that anyone with information should contact the OPP at 1-888-310-1122 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
