Police asking for help finding missing 15-year-old

A 15-year-old boy from Gatineau’s west end went missing more than a week ago on his way to school.

Police said they are looking for Damien Scantlebury who was last seen the morning of Jan. 30. He was taking the bus to École de la Cité in the Plateau district.

They describe him as five-foot-seven, with brown hair and blue eyes. Police said he was wearing a pale blue coat and a black cap with a red rim and ‘NY’ logo on it.

Authorities believe he may have taken the Société de transport de l’Outaouais (STO) bus and ended up in Ottawa.

Anyone with information on Scantlebury’s wherabout is asked to call Gatineau police at 819-246-0222.
