Multiple drivers caught going a high rate of speed on HWY 417

Two Ottawa drivers were caught for speeding Thursday evening, both having their licenses suspended.

They were nabbed by the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) driving at and over 160 km/h on a stretch of Highway 417.

The first driver was a 50-year-old who Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) clocked at going 160 km/h.

They were handed a 30-day drivers license suspension along with a 14-day vehicle impoundment.

The second driver was a 65-year-old man who OPP caught driving at 167 km/h.

He was also given the same, a 30-day drivers license suspension and a 14-day vehicle impoundment.
