Nepean resident wins $500K lottery prize

A man from Nepean will be smiling all the way to the bank after a big lottery win.
Benjamin Moyse matched all five numbers to win a second prize of $25,000 per year for life in the DAILY GRAND draw on January 18, 2024.
However, Benjamin opted for the lump sum payment of $500,000.
Benjamin is a public service worker and occasional lottery player who likes to look at the odds of winning, which is why he chose to take his chances with DAILY GRAND.
“I was looking at my email one morning when I noticed I had one from OLG about my ticket, “ he says. “I didn’t want to get my hopes up, but it looked different from my other emails. I logged into my account and saw I won.
Benjamin says he plans to celebrate his win with his family and hopes to make a real estate purchase with his winnings.
“There are no words to describe how amazing this is.”
The winning ticket was purchased on OLG.ca.
