Kingston, Ont. man arrested after fentanyl drug bust

Police say they arrested a person in the area of MacDonnel and Concession Streets on Feb. 6 on drug charges.

Officers say the accused had fentanyl on their possession. Police obtained a search warrant and say they found the following at the suspect’s home:

  • 21 grams of fentanyl
  • 73 grams of crystal methamphetamine
  • CO2 powered replica firearm
  • Shotgun shells
  • Morphine and other non-prescribed pills

Police charged a Kingston resident with two counts of possession of a schedule one substance for the purpose of trafficking, two counts of possession of a controlled substance, possession of proceeds of crime, possession of a firearm while prohibited and two counts of breach of probation.

They did not identify the accused.

The accused was held for a bail hearing the following day.
