OPP seizes cocaine, fentanyl in east Ontario house raid

Police arrested two men after executing a search warrant in a township about an hour south of Ottawa last Thursday.

OPP officers say they’ve been investigating happenings at a residence on Country Road 2 in Augusta, Ont. since January.

Officers say they served the warrant with their tactical teams, including the OPP Emergency Response Team, Tactics and Rescue Unit and the Canine Unit.

Police say they found about 120 grams of suspected cocaine and 10 grams of suspected fentanyl. They also found items typically associated with selling illegal drugs.

Richard Baker, 41, and Jessee Moore, 30, were both charged with two counts of possession of a schedule 1 substance for the purpose of trafficking.

Moore was released from custody and is scheduled to appear in court on Mar. 29. Baker is scheduled for a bail hearing on Wednesday.
