Ottawa OPP ask for help locating vehicle involved in hit and run collision

The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is asking the public for help locating a vehicle involved in a hit and run collision in Ottawa.

The Ottawa Detachment of the OPP responded to the crash on Highway 417 at Vanier shortly before midnight on Monday, Feb. 26.

Police say one driver remained on scene and was arrested before being taken back to the detachment for testing.

That driver was found to be two times the legal limit for alcohol and has since been charged.

Their licence was also suspended for 90 days and the vehicle was impounded for 14 days.

The other driver fled the scene in a vehicle described as a bronze/orange sedan.
