Cornwall man charged for killing ex-girlfriend’s dog

A 37-year-old man from Cornwall, Ont. has been arrested and charged for killing his ex-girlfriend’s dog.

He was arrested on Feb. 28, 2024 following the incident that took place two days prior.

Police were contacted following the alleged killing and the man attended The Cornwall Police Service (CPS) headquarters to address it. He was the taken into custody and charged.

He will appear in court on Apr. 4, 2024. Police have withheld the name of the man to protect the identity of his ex-girlfriend.

Police has told CityNews they will not be releasing more information at this time due to the domestic circumstances.
