Multiple drivers charged for excessive speeds in Orléans

Two drivers are facing charges after being caught for speeding on Highway 174 in Orléans Thursday.

The first driver from Quebec was clocked driving at 154 km/h in an 80 km/h zone near 10th Line Road.

They had already previously received a stunt driving penalty but was given another in this incident. Along with that charge came a licence suspension and vehicle impoundment for 14 days.

Similarly, a second driver was caught speeding at 156 km/h in the same area of Hwy. 174, which is also a construction zone. They also received a stunt driving charge, licence suspension and vehicle impoundment.
