Crash leaves 22-year-old dead in Laurentian Hills

Police say they’re investigating a fatal collision involving a side-by-side Utility Terrain Vehicle (UTV) in Laurentian Hills.
Around 12:44 a.m. on Sunday, March 24, Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers were called to a UTV collision on Pergeon Lake Road.
Police say early investigations suggest the vehicle rolled after hitting a curve in the road.
Emergency crews took both the driver and passenger to hospital by ambulance.
Police say the 22-year-old passenger from Eganville was pronounced dead at the hospital.
The driver, a 25-year-old from Laurentian Hills, suffered non life-threatening injuries.
