39-year-old man drowns in St. Lawrence River in Brockville, Ont.

Police say that a 39-year-old man drowned in the St. Lawrence River in Brockville, Ont. on Monday morning.

Brockville Police Service says they responded to calls of a person in distress in the river at Centeen Park.

Emergency crews pulled the man from the water and transported him to the hospital where he was later pronounced dead.

Police say no foul play is suspected and they are still investigating.

Investigators ask anyone with any information to call the Brockville Police Service at (613) 342-0127.
