29-year-old Ottawa man arrested on multiple drug and weapons charges

Police say they’ve arrested an Ottawa man suspected of trafficking illicit drugs in the nation’s capital after an investigation that started in the fall of 2023.

Ottawa Police Service (OPS) says they executed a search warrant on March 28th in the 100 block of Mann Avenue.  Police say they seized a loaded 9mm pistol, an extended magazine, crack cocaine, a large amount of Canadian currency and other items associated with the trafficking of illegal substances.

Police have arrested Jordan Martineau McLean, 29, and charged him with several counts under the Controlled Drug and Substance Act, multiple firearms offences and possession of property and proceeds of crime.

McLean remains in custody.
