Search continues for Ottawa man who vanished 5 years ago

Five years ago, Corey Baldwin disappeared in mid-April from his family home in Greely and has not been seen or heard from, since.

The Ottawa Police Service (OPS) is once again asking the public for any information that could lead to finding the missing man.

“Corey would never leave his family and two young daughters without an explanation,” Corey’s family said in a media release.

According to the OPS, Baldwin was reported missing in December 2019.

Police describe him as white, five-foot-ten, 232lbs, bald, with grey/blue eyes. If unshaven, he had dirty blond and grey facial hair at the time of his disappearance. He also has multiple tattoos on both arms, legs and back. He is now 47 years old.

“Corey is greatly missed by his family and friends,” the Ottawa police said. “His family is desperate for information concerning his whereabouts or what may have happened to him.”

Previously, police believed Baldwin could be in British Columbia or the Montreal area.

OPS asks that if you have any information on Corey’s whereabouts since his disappearance in 2019, to please contact the Ottawa Police tip line at 613-236-1222, extension 5477 or email mcm@ottawapolice.ca.

You can also call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 or visit crimestoppers.ca.
