‘Several thousand dollars’ worth of tropical fish stolen from Ottawa Valley restaurant: OPP

Police say they’re investigating a break-and-enter at a restaurant in a town northwest of Ottawa.

Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) says the theft happened in the early morning of April 11 in Beachburg, Ont. where tropical fish were stolen from an aquarium along with an unspecified amount of cash.

An OPP spokesperson could not confirm the exact amount of cash but said “the owner valued the fish at several thousand dollars”.

The investigation is ongoing.
