Police seeking witnesses for fatal motorcycle collision

The Ottawa Police Services (OPS) say a 24-year-old motorcyclist has died after sustaining “critical injuries” from a crash on Prince of Wales Drive and Rideau Valley Drive.

On May 10 around 4:40 p.m., officers were called to a collision between a vehicle and motorcycle in Ottawa’s south end. One person was transported to hospital. Police now say that person succumbed to their injuries.

Investigators are looking for people who may have witnessed the collision or have footage of the incident.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Ottawa Police Service Fatal Collision Investigation Unit at 613-236-1222, extension 2345.
