OFS knock down fire at Moxies in Orleans

Ottawa firefighters put out a fire at Moxies Orleans early Sunday morning.

Ottawa Fire Service (OFS) says that at around 6:20 a.m. they received a call about an active fire alarm at the Moxies in Orleans located at 3818 Innes Rd.

Fire crews declared a working fire on arrival and say the blaze was in the women’s washroom on the 2nd floor in an exhaust fan on the ceiling.

Firefighters extinguished the fire and declare it under control at 6:34 a.m.

The restaurant was empty at the time and there were no reported injuries.
