Lanark OPP investigating reports of man approaching young girls in Carleton Place

Provincial police are investigating two reports of a man in a vehicle approaching young girls in Carleton Place.
According to the Lanark County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), the first incident happened on Lansdowne Avenue between 2 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday, May 21.
The second incident is reported to have happened around 5 p.m. the same day on Coleman Street.
Police say there was no physical contact and the man’s motives are not known.
The man is described as heavy set with messy brown and grey hair. He was driving a silver, four-door high end car.
