One dead after motorcycle crash south of Smiths Falls

One person is dead after a motorcycle collision south of Smiths Falls.

A 37-year-old man was pronounced dead after being found in a ditch along County Road 29, between County Road 8 and Kinch Street, in Toledo.

According to the Leeds County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), the body was found around 5:30 a.m. on Sunday, May 26, but it remains unknown when the accident happened.

The investigation into what caused the crash continues.

County Road 29 was closed for several hours between County Road 8 and Kinch Street but has since reopened.
