1 dead, 5 with serious injuries after head-on collision

A late night crash on Highway 7 west of Perth, Ont. left one person dead and five other with “serious injuries.”

The head-on collision happened in Arden, Ont. in Frontenac County. Provincial Police arrived on scene just before 11:30 p.m.

Officials closed a portion of the highway between Hughes Road and Boulder Hill Road, but has since been reopened.

The Frontenac department of the Ontario Provincial Police are investigating.
