Police, paramedics respond to person in distress in Orléans

Ottawa police and paramedics were on scene in Orléans for several hours this morning.

According to a post on X, police have since resolved the incident in the 1000 block of Burgundy Lane. Officials received reports for a person possibly in distress.

Neighbours were told to shelter in place during the police operation that started at 8:50 a.m. and ended around 2:00 p.m.

Roads have since reopened in the area of Burgundy Lane and Vineyard Drive.

Paramedics tell CityNews Ottawa they were on scene to support police.
