Intimate partner violence investigation leads to six charges for Arnprior man

A man from Arnprior is facing six charges following an investigation into intimate partner violence (IPV) in Mississippi Mills.
The Lanark County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a home on Tuesday, July 16, which resulted in an arrest warrant being issued for a 25-year-old man.
The accused was located the next day and faces the following charges:
- Forcible confinement
- Assault with a weapon
- Criminal harassment – threatening conduct
- Criminal harassment – repeatedly communicate
- Mischief – interfere with lawful use or operation of property
- Mischief under $5,000
The accused was held for a bail hearing.
