Woman injured from pellet gun on OC Transpo bus, charges laid

Patrol officers responded to an assault on Queen Street where a woman sustained non-life threatening injuries.
According to police, on July 25 at about 5:50 p.m. a woman was injured from a pellet (BB) gun while on an OC Transpo Bus. She was transported to hospital.
The suspect then fled the scene but officers were able to locate him.
Ottawa police said 20-year-old Reilly Blanchard-Rivington of Ottawa was charged with multiple offences including:
- Aggravated assault
- Assault with a weapon
- Possess weapon dangerous to public peace
- Carry concealed weapon
- Breach probation
- Discharge air gun/intent to wound
- Point firearm
- Careless storage of firearm
- Occupy motor vehicle with firearm
- Disguise with intent.
He is scheduled to appear in court on Friday.
