Up to 25 mm of rain forecast for Ottawa Tuesday evening

It’s going to be a wet evening across the National Capital Region.
While Tuesday got off to a sunny start, we’ll see increasing cloud through the afternoon with a risk of thunderstorm and a slight chance of showers.
It’s also going to be sticky, with a high near 30 C and a humidex value of 35.
According to Environment Canada, the wind will pick up this evening as showers move in, with 15 to 25 mm possible by morning.
Also, the weather agency the risk of thunderstorm will continue this evening and through the overnight.
